Most providers claim to have their own hosting platforms or cloud systems that they can provide services on, however we find that generally speaking most of these providers simply “wrap” other peoples solutions and sell it as their own. We like to be transparent about how we operate and feel you should know exactly where and how your systems are being hosted. It doesn’t matter if it’s a simple website hosting project or an entire infrastructure, we think that if it’s your system you have a right to understand it from top to bottom.
We are able to provide excellent Data Centre services through the close partnerships we have with 2 very professional and local Data Centres. Our experience of both centres has proven to be very positive one over the years. Why do we do it this way? It’s easy really, professional Data Centres require massive investment & specialist equipment and whilst we understand & utilise this technology, its not our core business so we’d rather not have the distraction. This means that we are more focused on you and delivering the highest quality IT Support possible.
The Data Centres we use offer as close to 100% uptime as possible. As an absolute minimum we look for 99.99% uptime. This means that in all likelihood its going to more reliable than your own connection to the internet.
Performance is a key factor when choosing hosting or a data centre partner, that’s why we use companies with a proven track record that use the right type of connection and are local to our client base.
Security is of paramount importance to us at Support Stack, We only use ISO 27001 certified partners who provide the very best physical and virtual protection measures. We’d be happy to explain more about this and how it might apply to you and your solution.
All of the data centre and hosting services we offer are backed up by our Service Level Agreements (SLA). These cover network & systems availability and explain exactly what you can expect from us, excellent service.
We can provide high availability systems in our Data Centres. From a fully hosted, high availability system to a daily replica of your system for disaster recovery purposes – we can do it all.
We only use Data Centres with redundant internet connections (let’s be honest, they wouldn’t be much of a data centre if they didn’t have this). If a connection is lost due to a provider issue or other problem, the Data Centre will switch over to its redundant link. Leaving your systems intact and online. This high availability also includes power. Should a centre suffer a power failure the on-site generator will kick in to keep everything running.
We like to know that no matter what time of day (or night) it is, we can access your systems. It’s important to us that we can do this as it allows us to support you better. Should there be a hardware issue or other configuration issue, we can obtain access to your systems to get things resolved as quickly as possible.
